Caputured a Beautiful Surprise Proposal at Hakone Shrine

Today, I’m excited to share a recent surprise proposal shoot for a couple from the Philippines at Hakone Shrine in Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan.

Friendly Tourist: The Game Plan
This plan lets you propose naturally, even in busy spots. I pretend to be a tourist, and you ask me to take a photo of you with your phone. After a few quick shots, I return it — that’s your cue to propose!
I’ll already be ready with my camera to capture the moment from a distance, so you can speak your heart and enjoy your private moment without rushing. I’ll give simple guidance to make sure everything looks natural and beautiful in the photos.
It was a truly beautiful moment.
I lined up behind them at the photo spot and was able to capture their proposal. It was so incredibly emotional that I almost brought me to tears.
Throughout the shoot, we enjoyed chatting together, and it truly turned into a very memorable session.
I’m also really happy to have made new friends in the Philippines.
